The position
As a Petition Circulator, you'll work throughout the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas — meeting voters, attending community events, and visiting neighborhoods to collect valid signatures from registered Idaho voters.
The role involves engaging directly with the public, explaining the initiative, and ensuring all collected signatures meet Idaho petition requirements. It's a strong opportunity for motivated individuals who enjoy talking with people and want to participate in the democratic process.
Requirements
- Must be an Idaho resident
- Must have a valid Idaho driver's license or state-issued ID
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be comfortable approaching and speaking with voters door-to-door and at public locations
- Must be reliable, organized, and self-motivated
- Must follow all Idaho petition circulation laws and campaign guidelines
- Must actively work assigned walk books and targeted voter areas
- Must maintain professional and respectful interactions with the public
Additional requirements
- Maintain a professional appearance while representing the campaign
- No visible face or neck tattoos
- No face piercings while working
- Must maintain an average of at least five (5) signatures per hour
- Must maintain at least 70% signature validity
Compensation & benefits
- $25.00 hourly base pay
- High-performing canvassers can earn $30.00 in their second week
